We offer a robust, custom plan so you’re not over or under-insured, or paying for things you simply don’t need. When should I buy insurance for my upcoming trip?
It's best to buy travel insurance as soon as possible after booking your trip. That way, you'll be protected against unexpected events that might cause you to delay or cancel. And if you buy within 14 days of your initial trip deposit, you'll be eligible for Faye's full range of coverage protection, including coverage of pre-existing medical conditions. If you do not purchase Faye travel insurance within 14 days of your initial trip deposit, there won’t be an option to purchase the Cancel For Any Reason add-on or be eligible for pre-existing medical conditions coverage.

I have pre-existing medical conditions. Can I still purchase Faye travel insurance?
Of course! As long as you purchase your plan within 14 days of your initial trip deposit, and are medically able to travel when you purchase your plan, pre-existing conditions can be covered. If you do not purchase Faye travel insurance within 14 days of your initial trip deposit, you unfortunately won’t receive the waiver for pre-existing medical conditions.
Does Faye cover pregnancy complications?
Yes, you have coverage if you need to cancel your trip due to pregnancy complications, or if you experience them while traveling.
Does Faye have a mobile app?
Who can buy Faye travel insurance?
U.S. residents can purchase Faye coverage unless they are residents of: Hawaii, Indiana, Washington, Montana, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia.
Where can I travel with Faye travel insurance?
Faye offers protection plans covering domestic U.S. travel and most international travel. Destinations that are not covered include: Iran, Iraq, Syria, North Korea, Ukraine and Russia.
Can I buy Faye travel insurance when I am already traveling?
Unfortunately no, but you can purchase Faye travel protection prior to your trip, right up until departure. Head to our website or app on iOS or Android to get covered.
I bought Faye travel insurance but now my travel plans have changed. How can I change my plan coverage dates?

Does Faye cover missed connections and activities?
In short, yes. Our trip coverage, subject to the plan terms, protects you from a variety of mishaps that can result in you missing a flight, trip activity or hotel reservation. To see a full list of what is covered, head here.
Who underwrites Faye’s insurance plans?
Travel insurance in our plans is underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company, which is A-rated by A.M. Best of 2021.
How do you decide what to offer before I purchase a plan?
Faye’s Travel Protection Plan is based on a mixture of the base coverage and bundles available in the Faye Travel Protection Policy (click here to read it in full).
During the onboarding process, we take into account if you're traveling domestically or internationally in order to offer the right medical bundle, and based on when you're traveling, the right baggage and trip cancellation protection. For example, you can't buy trip cancellation on the day of your set departure date, so we're not going to try and sell it to you.
How can I customize my protection plan?
Faye’s Travel Protection Plan offers many coverage types, from which we make some selections on your behalf based on where you’re going and when all of which you'll be able to see when you get to the offer page pre-purchase. On the offer page, we'll ask if you want some more protection included - such as pet care, rental car care or the ability to cancel for any reason. We’ll continue to optimize our protection technology over time, so you can expect more customization options in the future!
Does Faye cover adventure and extreme sports travel?
