Tel Aviv, Israel | June 8, 2023

One of the most significant events of the year in Tel Aviv is the annual Pride Parade. This week-long party attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world. The highlight of the celebration is on June 8th, with a parade along the beach on the Herbert Samuel Boardwalk featuring festive floats and performances. The following day, a festival at Yehoshua Park takes place with attendees dancing, singing and partying until sunset. If you are looking to keep the celebration going, make sure to secure your tickets to the Adam Lambert concert on June 13th at Menora Mivtachim Arena. As the “Gay Capital of the Middle East”, Tel Aviv’s Pride is something you don’t want to miss. 

Los Angeles, USA | June 11, 2023

The 53rd annual LA Pride Parade will take place on June 11th with music, performances and surprises taking over Hollywood Blvd. This year, LA is setting up Pride Village, a street fair featuring food, performances, activities and more taking place right next to the parade. If you’re there a couple of days early, be sure to check out some of the activities taking place like LA Pride in the Park, happening on June 9th and 10th with performances by Mariah Carey and Megan Thee Stallion. 

São Paulo, Brazil | June 11, 2023

The São Paulo Pride Parade is recognized as the world’s largest Pride Parade by the Guinness World Record. This city’s celebrations last 5 days and offers everything from all-day parties to street markets. The parade begins in front of the Museum of Art of São Paulo and goes down Rua da Consolação to Praça Roosevelt. Make sure to check out the LGBT+ Diversity Cultural Fair at Memorial Da América Latina on June 8th, a few days before the parade, showcasing hand-made crafts, workshops and LGBTQIA+ artist performances. 

Dublin, Ireland | June 24, 2023

Dublin’s 40th Anniversary Pride Parade will be held on June 24th and is the largest parade on the island of Ireland. While this day is to celebrate inclusivity, it’s also when the LGBTQIA+ community protests and remembers the country’s lack of acceptance in years past. This year, you can expect to see more art, social and cultural exhibitions throughout the city than ever before. In addition to the parade, Dublin is offering Pride Village in Merrion Square, with live music, big screens, food and a family & community zone. 

Mexico City, Mexico | June 24, 2023

Mexico City Pride, also known as Marcha del Orgullo LGBT de la Ciudad de México, is known as one of the most fun Pride events in Latin America. During this time, Zona Rosa (the city’s gay area), attracts thousands of LGBTQIA+ tourists looking to celebrate. The parade route begins at the Angel of Independence in Zona Rosa and goes throughout the city until it reaches Zocalo. While here, check out the SHHHHH! Party, an underground party that takes place in a secret location. The week leading up to the event, the SHHHHH! Team shares hints on social media about the theme, location and which world-class DJs will be performing.

Paris, France | June 24, 2023

In Paris, the Pride Parade is known as La Quinzaine des Fiertés LGTB which translates to LGBT Pride Fortnight. This event has taken place since 2016 and is a cultural, celebratory and activist festivity that fights for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. Its goal is to bring better visibility to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people while also celebrating their pride. The parade ends with the Marche des Fiertés LGBT, a march that aims to defend equal rights and reject discrimination. 

New York City, USA | June 25, 2023

New York City Pride has so much to offer in terms of events in addition to the parade. Start your day off by visiting PrideFest in Greenwich Village, a street fair that combines exhibitors, food and entertainers. After the festival, make sure to watch the march, which now includes recognition of the fight against AIDS and remembers those who have lost their lives to the illness. Continue your day by going to the Brooklyn Army Terminal for Pride Island where Christina Aguilera is performing in all her glory. 

San Francisco, USA | June 25, 2023

This year's theme of the San Francisco Pride Parade is Looking Back and Moving Forward. Each year, the celebration begins the day before the parade at Civic Center Plaza with music, performances, food and merchandise vendors. The parade takes place the following morning and is one of the largest LGBTQIA+ celebrations in the world. Attend and experience a diverse group of floats, dancers, and community organizations who are all committed to creating equality in the world. If you find yourself in the city earlier in June, buy tickets to Queer Prom 2023, an all-night party featuring prom-themed performances, prom king and queen nominations and a fashion show. 

Toronto, Canada | June 25, 2023

Toronto has everything you need for Pride, from street fairs to an LGBTQIA+ jazz festival. The month of June ends with the city’s annual Pride Parade, estimated to have over 200,000 marchers and 2.4 million spectators. Don’t miss out on the Wood Street Block Party, taking place June 23 – 25 at Wood and Church Streets in the middle of Toronto’s Village, offering non-stop music, fun and good vibes all weekend long. 

Madrid, Spain | July 1, 2023

Madrid Pride, more popularly known in Spanish as the Orgullo Gay de Madrid (MADO), is known as one of the best LGBTQIA+ celebrations in the world. The festivities begin on June 28th and continue for a week offering a wide range of cultural activities, political activism and events. The Madrid Pride Parade takes place on July 1st and goes from Atocha Train Station to Plaza de Colón. And you can’t go to Madrid’s Pride without attending the famous High Heel Race on June 29th. This high-speed race consists of participants dressed in high heels of up to 15 cm running down Pelayo Street as fast as they can to win the first-place prize. 

Berlin, Germany | July 22, 2023

The Berlin Pride Celebration, also known as Christopher Street Day, runs throughout July, with activities ranging from self-defense classes for queer women to queer and religion-based panel discussions. Make sure to attend the Queer Summer Splash on July 2nd, an open-air pool day for the LGBTQIA+ community with swimming, dancing and drinks. As one of the biggest Pride celebrations in Europe, it's no wonder Berlin hosts so many activities during the month. The parade runs from Kurfürstendamm to the Brandenburg Gate and typically ends with concerts and surprise guest stars.
