What we're looking for:
Faye is seeking a QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for manual testing of our multiple products, including web applications and mobile apps, while actively contributing to the implementation and enhancement of automated testing processes. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a fast-growing startup, contributing directly to its success and growth while reshaping the travel insurance landscape.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive manual testing of web, mobile, and backend applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to understand product specifications and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to automate testing procedures and contribute to the development of automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to continuously improve testing methodologies and processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 3+ years in manual testing within a software development environment.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, test planning, and test case design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience in implementing automated testing frameworks and tools is a plus.
